Title: L2 Network Security Engineer / Network Engineer IPT

We are hiring for two roles within the network domain:
L2 Network & Network Security Engineer (focused on routing, switching, and security)
L2 Network Engineer (Wireless & Unified Communication) (focused on network, wireless, and IP telephony)
Both roles are responsible for maintaining and enhancing enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across environments.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. L2 Network & Network Security Engineer
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches).
Configure and troubleshoot network devices for performance and availability.
Manage firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto) including rules, NAT, and security policies.
Implement security controls (ACLs, segmentation, port security).
Configure and support VPNs (site-to-site & remote access).
Monitor network using tools and ensure SLA compliance.
Perform policy reviews, audits, and vulnerability remediation.
Support incident response, traffic analysis, and root cause analysis.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for upgrades and issue resolution.
Provide L2 support and participate in on-call rotations.
B. L2 Network Engineer (Wireless & Unified Communication)
Design and maintain network infrastructure including Cisco routers, switches, ACI, and wireless networks.
Configure and support wireless solutions (Aruba, Cisco 9800, Huawei controllers).
Perform RF optimization, spectrum analysis, and wireless surveys.
Ensure wireless performance (RSSI, roaming, VOIP over Wi-Fi).
Support Cisco collaboration tools (Call Manager, Unity, IM&P, Contact Center).
Manage VOIP clusters, SIP integrations, and video conferencing (WebEx, CMS).
Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN and unified communication systems.
Enforce SSID security, ACLs, and network policies.
Provide user support and coordinate with vendors for telecom/network issues.
Participate in continuous improvement and network design initiatives.
3. Requirements (Common for Both Roles)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN.
Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide on-call support.
4. Role-Specific Requirements
For Network Security Role
Experience with firewall platforms (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
Knowledge of security policies, audits, and compliance.
Hands-on experience with VPNs, ACLs, and threat mitigation.
For Wireless & UC Role
Experience with wireless technologies and controllers (Aruba, Cisco, Huawei).
Knowledge of VOIP, SIP, and Cisco Collaboration tools.
Experience in wireless optimization and RF tuning.
5. Preferred Qualifications
Cisco certifications (CCNP / CCIE)
CCNP Security / Collaboration (role dependent)
Firewall certifications (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco)
Experience with SD-WAN & ACI
Knowledge of Wi-Fi / WiMAX technologies
