We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated *KPI & Performance Metrics Consultant* to join our team and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the operational and evaluation processes.
About The Project:
As we are preparing to scale past 100+ employees, we strive towards a performance framework that is both immediately actionable and scalable.
We need an expert consultant to bridge the gap between our strategic vision and day-to-day operations through a mathematically sound to track performance across three levels: individual employees, team processes, and macro company performance.
Crucially, this operational framework should align with our company culture. By integrating our core operational metrics today, we will lay the groundwork for a future, secondary initiative dedicated to HR analytics, employee retention, and long-term career tracking.
What You’ll Do
- Audit & Alignment: Review our current data setups (currently Google Sheets/Docs and Google Looker Studio) and existing metrics. Talk with our department heads to understand how their workflows operate.
- KPI Framework Design: Build out a clean, practical system of metrics spanning individual, team, and company levels—focused heavily on volume, quality, and accuracy tracking, including a weighted scoring model for individual performance reviews.
- Data Flow Mapping: Review how we currently collect data, flag any bottleneck areas or scale limitations, and help us map out how this data will eventually flow into a more automated cloud database. We are open to recommending new tools if our current setup won’t scale.
- Dashboard Specs: Create clear wireframes and functional blueprints for dashboards at each level—individual, team, and executive/company—so our development team knows exactly what to build.
- Data Governance Rules: Put together a straightforward plan for who owns which metric, how often teams should review them (weekly/monthly), and how to maintain data integrity across the board.
- Culture Alignment: Where possible, design the framework so it could later extend into HR/culture metrics (retention, development, growth), without expanding current scope or deliverables.
Deliverables:
- A finalized KPI Matrix with precise metric definitions, targets, and internal owners—covering individual, team, and company levels.
- A clear Specification Document and layout wireframes for our dashboard builders, for all three reporting levels.
- A Data Governance & Review Cadence Plan.
- A brief Implementation & Maintenance Guide to keep everything running consistently long-term.
