Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Planning & Costing Engineer to join our team, specializing in construction projects with a focus on buildings and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Construction – MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) with mandatory UAE experience. The role requires the ability to effectively plan, schedule, and cost control complex construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and cost estimates for construction projects.
– Monitor project progress and financial performance against the plan.
– Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones and financial targets are met.
– Prepare regular reports on project performance, highlighting any potential cost overruns or delays.
– Analyze project risks and opportunities and propose strategies for risk mitigation.
– Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout project execution.
Qualifications & Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) is a must.
– A minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role.
– Proven track record of working on Buildings and Infrastructure projects.
– Extensive experience in Construction – MEP.
– Additional certifications in relevant planning and costing courses are an advantage.
– UAE experience is essential.
– Offshore experience is an advantage.
Skills:
– Excellent knowledge of project management tools and software.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Effective communication and coordination skills with the ability to work under pressure.
– Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently.
