Job Summary:
Responsible for transporting furniture safely to client locations and assisting in the assembly and installation of furniture and joinery items. Ensure timely deliveries, proper handling of goods, and high-quality assembly work on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely drive company vehicles to transport furniture and materials to designated locations.
Load, unload, and handle furniture with care to prevent damage during transit.
Assemble and install furniture and joinery items at client sites according to design specifications.
Follow safety guidelines and company procedures while driving and assembling furniture.
Inspect and maintain the vehicle regularly to ensure it is in good working condition.
Assist in warehouse operations, including organizing and moving furniture when required.
Communicate with the logistics and operations team to ensure smooth delivery and installation.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor assembly issues on-site.
Follow work schedules and complete assignments within the given timeframe.
Provide excellent customer service during delivery and installation.
Qualifications:
Valid UAE driving license (Heavy Preferred / Manual).
Previous experience in furniture assembly and installation is preferred.
Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in furniture assembly.
Ability to lift and move heavy furniture safely.
Familiarity with Dubai roads and routes is an advantage.
Competencies:
Strong attention to detail in assembly and installation.
Good problem-solving skills for minor assembly adjustments.
Punctuality and time management to ensure on-time deliveries.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Customer-focused approach with good communication skills.
