We’re Hiring: Kitchen AssistantLocation: Dubai, UAE
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our authentic Iranian restaurant. The ideal candidate will support the kitchen team in food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining a hygienic and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Prepare vegetables, herbs, and other ingredients for daily kitchen operations.
- Keep the kitchen, workstations, and storage areas clean and organized.
- Wash dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and cooking tools.
- Ensure all food is stored properly according to food safety standards.
- Receive and organize deliveries and stock supplies.
- Dispose of waste and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Head Chef.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant or Kitchen Helper is preferred.
- Experience in an Iranian, Persian, or Middle Eastern restaurant is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Basic English communication skills.
