Kitchen Equipment Engineer Jobs in Abu Dhabi at Antonia Restaurants
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Kitchen Equipment Engineer to join our team. As a Kitchen Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various kitchen equipment in commercial kitchens. You will work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure all equipment is in excellent working condition to provide a safe, efficient, and high-performing kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and more.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and technical issues with kitchen equipment.
Perform routine preventive maintenance checks and ensure all equipment is up to safety standards.
Install new kitchen equipment and ensure proper functionality.
Train kitchen staff on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
Communicate with suppliers to order parts and equipment as needed.
Document service and maintenance reports for equipment history.
Respond to emergency breakdowns quickly and efficiently.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Kitchen Equipment Engineer or in a similar technical role.
Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and its maintenance.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components.
Technical certification in kitchen equipment or a related field is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with refrigeration, HVAC systems, and electrical wiring.
Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in commercial kitchens.
Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call when necessary.
