Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed and accurate electrical cost estimates for projects, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and proposals to create comprehensive estimates.
Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing information for materials and services.
Ensure that electrical designs are cost-effective while maintaining compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Track and monitor actual project costs against initial estimates, providing recommendations to adjust for any discrepancies.
Work with senior engineers and project managers to develop financial projections and maintain budget control.
Provide support during the procurement phase, including evaluating bids and selecting vendors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
years of experience in electrical engineering estimation or a similar role (UAE 3-5 years).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to create accurate cost breakdowns.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
