About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Splash Park Manager to oversee the daily operations of our community splash park. You will be responsible for guest safety, staff supervision, facility maintenance coordination, and ensuring an excellent visitor experience.
Required qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a water park, leisure facility, or hospitality environment
- Current lifeguard certification
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working outdoors in summer heat
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer literacy (email, scheduling, reporting)
Key responsibilities
- Safety oversight — enforce water safety rules, supervise lifeguard rotations, conduct regular headcounts, and respond to emergencies calmly and efficiently.
- Team management — hire, train, schedule, and motivate a team of seasonal staff including lifeguards, ticket staff, and maintenance crew.
- Facility maintenance — perform daily opening/closing inspections, coordinate equipment servicing (pumps, splash features, filtration), and maintain pool/water chemistry logs.
- Guest experience — handle parent/guardian concerns, resolve guest complaints, and create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for children of all ages.
- Compliance & documentation — ensure adherence to local health codes, water quality regulations, and capacity limits; maintain incident and inspection records.
- Operations & inventory — manage concession/retail stock, POS systems, cash handling, and daily revenue reconciliation.
