Pomilio Blumm is preparing a tender for a European Commission project supporting communication outreach and public engagement on EU policies in North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf. The contract will cover communication campaigns and digital content, events and media relations across EU Member States and countries in the region.
Duration of the project: 36 months, starting on 1 November 2026.
We are currently seeking candidates for the following key expert position – Key Expert 4: Media Relations Manager.
The expert will lead the project’s media relations component, including press outreach, press trips, media events, press materials, journalist engagement, media monitoring and analysis.
Mandatory requirements:
Qualifications and skills
- University degree, or equivalent, in media, communication, marketing or advertising; alternatively, at least 5 additional years of relevant professional experience (in addition to those required under the general professional experience).
- English at C2 level, demonstrated through certification or relevant professional experience.
- General professional experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a field relevant to the contract.
- Specific professional experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience managing media relations activities.
Experience in communication on EU policies and programmes, particularly EU neighbourhood policies and cooperation with the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf, will be considered an asset.
Experience managing communication activities targeting audiences in these regions will also be valued.
Candidates need to provide a CV and a concise presentation of the media relations projects they have managed.
