Position: Junior UI/ UX Developer
Role Description
The Junior UI/UX Designer will support the Lead UI/UX Designer in developing intuitive, user-centric digital experiences for the digital banking platform. A key responsibility will be creating Arabic versions of all user interface designs and ensuring cultural and linguistic relevance across all digital assets. The role also includes assisting in user research, wire framing, and prototyping, contributing to the continuous improvement of the platform’s design.
Job Accountabilities
Support the Lead UI/UX Designer in creating user-friendly designs across digital banking channels
Translate and localize English-language designs into Arabic
Assist in creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and final designs
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure design implementation
Conduct or support user research and usability testing
Maintain design documentation and asset libraries in Arabic and English
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
Experience
1–2 years in UI/UX design, ideally with exposure to fintech or mobile-first digital platforms
Job Specific Skills
Fluent Arabic and English (written and spoken) – Mandatory
Basic knowledge of UX principles. Ability to design responsive interfaces. Understanding of localization and cultural adaptation
Preferred Certification/ Training
UX/UI certifications from recognized platforms (Google, Coursera, Nielsen Norman, etc.)
Generic Skills Requirements
Strong attention to detail. Good communication skills. Team player with collaborative mindset. Time management and prioritization
