Junior QS Jobs in Dubai at Perfect Technical Works & Landscaping LLC
PTWL is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor with 1–2 years of relevant experience to support the commercial team in delivering landscaping projects. The role offers hands-on exposure across estimation, cost control, procurement, and project coordination.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuantity Take-Offs & Estimation Support
- Perform quantity take-offs from drawings under supervision
- Assist in the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
- Review drawings and specifications to understand project scope and requirements
Cost Control & Documentation
- Track project costs and maintain accurate cost records
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and updates
- Maintain organized documentation of measurements, reports, and project data
Payments & Variations Support
- Assist in preparing monthly payment applications and progress valuations
- Support the measurement and documentation of variations
- Compile data for payment certificates and assist in draft final accounts
Procurement Support
- Prepare RFQs (Requests for Quotation) for suppliers and subcontractors
- Analyze and compare quotations, preparing summary reports
- Follow up with suppliers and support procurement documentation processes
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with site teams for measurement verification
- Assist in preparing progress reports and cost reports
- Participate in project meetings and support team coordination
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in construction or landscaping projects
- Basic knowledge of quantity take-offs and BOQ preparation
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD is an advantage
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good communication and organizational abilities
- High attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
