Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing quantity take-offs and cost estimates based on drawings and specifications.
- Prepare and maintain project BOQ (Bill of Quantities).
- Monitor project costs and assist in cost control activities.
- Prepare material quantity calculations and site measurements.
- Assist in evaluating subcontractor quotations and supplier prices.
- Support the preparation of progress claims, variation orders, and payment certificates.
- Coordinate with site engineers, procurement, and project teams regarding project quantities and costs.
- Maintain records of contracts, invoices, and project documentation.
- Assist in preparing reports related to project costing and budgeting.
- Conduct site visits to verify completed works and measurements.
- Ensure all quantity surveying works are completed accurately and on time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of construction drawings and estimation procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
