About the Role
Working with a Property, Renovation and Construction company to manage procurement activities across various projects. This role combines construction expertise with procurement administration to ensure efficient material sourcing and vendor management
Responsibilities
Construction Procurement (70%)
Develop scope of work documents for construction projects
Read and interpret construction drawings for material requirements
Liaise with suppliers on material specifications and requirements
Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors
Develop cost estimates for construction materials and services
Manage material delivery schedules
Conduct quality control checks on received materials
Maintain supplier relationships
Administrative (30%)
Process purchase orders and manage procurement documentation
Handle supplier invoicing and payment processes
Prepare and analyze vendor quotations
Maintain procurement records and databases
Generate procurement reports
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies
Requirements
2-3 years of experience in construction environment (small to medium-sized company preferred)
Understanding of construction processes, materials, and terminology
Ability to read basic construction drawings
Experience in material procurement or supply chain management
Strong numerical skills for cost estimation
Excellent communication skills for supplier negotiations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong organizational and time management skills
