Educational Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering from a recognized university.

Registrations / Certifications:

·      Primavera P6 Training / Certification (preferred).

·      PMP or Planning & Scheduling certification (advantage).

·      ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System awareness (preferable).

Experience:

·      2 to 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling for construction or MEP projects.

·      GCC experience, preferably in the UAE, is an advantage.

·      Basic understanding of project execution, procurement tracking, and construction sequencing for MEP systems.

Computer Software Proficiency:

·      Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

·      Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

·      Familiar with AutoCAD drawings and construction sequencing.

·      Knowledge of Power BI or reporting dashboards is an added advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·      Assist in preparing and updating project baseline schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.

·      Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly progress of engineering, procurement, and construction activities.

·      Coordinate with site engineers, procurement teams, and subcontractors to collect progress updates and planning data.

·      Support preparation of look-ahead schedules, recovery programs, and target completion plans.

·      Update project schedules based on actual site progress and highlight delays or critical issues.

·      Assist in preparation of manpower histograms, S-curves, resource loading, and productivity reports.

·      Monitor procurement status of long-lead materials and equipment against project milestones.

·      Coordinate with QA/QC and construction teams to track inspection and testing activities linked to schedule progress.

·      Participate in project coordination meetings and prepare planning-related reports and presentations.

·      Support preparation of extension of time (EOT) documentation and delay analysis records.

·      Review contractor and subcontractor schedules and monitor compliance with approved programs.

·      

Assist in tracking engineering deliverables, material approvals, and authority approvals.

·      Maintain proper planning records and ensure reports are updated as per project reporting requirements.

·      Ensure compliance with project planning procedures and company quality management systems.

·      Coordinate with project teams to identify potential schedule risks and suggest mitigation measures.
