DESIGNyoung is a leading interior design consultancy based in Dubai, delivering innovative interior design solutions across hospitality, commercial, healthcare, residential, and workplace sectors. We are looking for a creative and motivated Junior Interior Designer to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate designer who is eager to learn, develop professionally, and gain hands-on experience working on diverse, high-quality projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing interior design concepts, mood boards, and material palettes.
- Prepare 2D drawings, layouts, elevations, sections, and detailing using AutoCAD.
- Create and update 3D models using SketchUp.
- Coordinate design information with visualisers and review CGI renderings.
- Prepare presentation materials using Photoshop and InDesign.
- Assist in selecting furniture, finishes, lighting, and accessories.
- Prepare FF&E schedules and material boards.
- Support the Senior Interior Designer throughout all project stages.
- Attend site visits, surveys, and project meetings when required.
- Coordinate with suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
- Ensure drawings and documentation are completed accurately and on schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
- 1-2 years of experience in an interior design consultancy.
- Fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is essential.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
- Knowledge of Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion, or Revit is an advantage.
- Strong design, presentation, and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
