A reputable Insurance company in Qatar is looking for a Junior General Insurance Underwriter. The ideal candidate should know about general insurance products, underwriting guidelines, risk assessment, and policy documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare quotations, policy documents, endorsements, and renewals.
• Review and assess insurance proposals for general lines of business.
• Evaluate risks and determine appropriate terms, conditions, and premiums.
• Ensure underwriting decisions comply with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with brokers, clients, and internal departments for required information.
• Support claims, finance, and operations teams when required.
Requirements:
• 0-5 years of experience in General Insurance underwriting.
• Experience in property, engineering, marine, liability, or other general lines is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Qatar insurance market practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office and insurance systems.
• Valid Qatar ID with transferable visa/NOC.
• Available in Qatar for interview and joining.
