Whizz HR is looking for an experienced Estimator for a reputed Construction & Interior Fit-Out company based in Dubai.
📍 Location: Dubai, UAE
💼 Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, BOQs, specifications, and tender documents.
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimates for construction and fit-out projects.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Prepare project budgets, cost plans, and tender submissions.
- Coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, and design departments to ensure accurate pricing.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering without compromising project quality.
- Analyze project risks, variations, and contingencies that may impact project costs.
- Maintain updated databases of material, labor, and subcontractor rates.
- Assist in preparing commercial proposals and bid documentation.
Requirements:
✔ Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
✔ Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Estimator in Construction, Interior Fit-Out, Contracting, or Turnkey Projects.
✔ Strong understanding of construction materials, fit-out processes, and market pricing.
✔ Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, and MEP drawings.
✔ Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
✔ Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
✔ UAE/GCC experience will be an added advantage.
