Job Summary
The Junior Contract Administrator will support the physical movement, custody and contractual obligations concerning the metal traded including the commodity supply chain to execute tasks with customers, logistics companies, and warehouse rs to ensure the timely and cost-efficient execution of physical metals trades.
Responsibilities
Booking invoices for deliveries into our in-house system to record the purchase or sales.
Checking freight/storage/inspection invoices received from different 3rd party companies and preparing them for payment based on traffic inputs.
Booking of and following up on deliveries with different freight forwarders.
Develop and maintain high quality customer service relationships with various counter parties including producers, consumers, and service providers in a manner which creates operational synergies across the supply chain.
Proactively monitor contractual documentation, such as purchase/sales orders invoices, shipping and title documents to ensure contractual obligations are met and realized in an accurate, timely and cost-efficient manner.
Various other admin tasks on regular or ad hoc bases as needed by the operations team.
Qualifications And Requirements
A solid educational background with a Bachelor’s degree or higher, or a relevant professional qualification.
Proficiency in English (both spoken and written); knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Flexibility to work extra hours when needed.
Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently, adapt, and remain flexible in various situations.
Willingness to adapt to international standards and practices.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Ability to engage effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Interest in Commodity Trading, with the potential to progress to a senior role in the future.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
