About the Role
Estidama Engineering Consultancy LLC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi.
This opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates and entry-level professionals who are passionate about architecture, drafting, and Building Information Modeling (BIM), and are eager to build a successful career in engineering consultancy.
The successful candidate will work closely with architects, engineers, and project teams in preparing architectural drawings, developing BIM models, coordinating multidisciplinary designs, and supporting authority submissions for projects throughout the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and shop drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Develop, update, and maintain accurate 3D BIM models in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
- Produce coordinated 2D drawings from BIM models.
- Revise drawings and models based on comments from architects, engineers, clients, and relevant authorities.
- Assist in the preparation of authority submission drawings and documentation.
- Coordinate architectural drawings and BIM models with Structural, MEP, and Fire & Life Safety disciplines.
- Ensure drawings and BIM models comply with applicable UAE regulations, project specifications, and company drafting standards.
- Maintain drawing registers, templates, project documentation, and revision records.
- Participate in design coordination meetings and site visits when required.
- Support senior architects and project managers throughout the design and approval process.
- Perform other drafting, BIM, and technical duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Internship or previous drafting/BIM experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and BIM workflows.
- Basic knowledge of 3D architectural modeling and model coordination.
- Familiarity with architectural drafting standards, construction drawings, and detailing.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, Navisworks, or other 3D visualization/BIM software is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
- Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
