Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Manage the payment process, including scheduling and coordinating payments to vendors, while maintaining a healthy cash flow.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, addressing any inquiries or issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Support month-end closing activities by reconciling accounts payable transactions and preparing journal entries as necessary.
- Provide analysis and reporting on accounts payable metrics, such as aging reports.
- Monitor and control expenses within the accounts payable function to ensure alignment with budget.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and operation department, to resolve issues and improve processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or any related field.
- ACCA or CA is a plus.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
