Job Description
We are seeking a Junior AML Analyst to join our Insurance Division. The role involves assisting the compliance department in implementing internal procedures to prevent money laundering and ensuring AML/CFT
regulatory compliance
.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and implementing AML policies and procedures.
Coordinate with internal departments for due diligence documents.
Execute due diligence activities according to regulatory guidelines.
Complete client risk assessments.
Manage records and track reporting timelines.
Implement Screening and Transaction Monitoring Systems.
Identify red flags and control issues.
Investigate suspicious activities and prepare reports.
Liaise with regulators and supervisors.
BUILD partnerships with Internal Audit, Operations, and other stakeholders.
Work with leaders to resolve related issues.
Seek AML compliance advice and participate in compliance committee meetings.
File regulatory reports and develop training presentations.
Assist in planning, execution, and analysis of AML compliance reviews.
Communicate with management to ensure AML/CFT compliance.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of AML compliance experience in banking or insurance.
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Business Administration.
Knowledge of transaction monitoring systems and screening tools.
Knowledge of FATCA & CRS regulation.
Essential Skills:
Strong AML analysis skills and industry best practices knowledge.
Excellent language skills in English.
Organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
