Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with various accounting tasks, including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. This role provides an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development in the accounting field.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
Maintain and update the general ledger and other accounting records.
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
Reconcile bank statements and assist in the month-end close process.
Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
Prepare and file sales tax returns and other regulatory filings.
Help maintain accurate financial data and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the senior accounting staff.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
1-2 years of experience in an accounting role (internships included).
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
