Company Overview:We are a well-established and rapidly growing company seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team. If you are an experienced accounting professional with a track record of at least 5 years in the field, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:As a Senior Accountant, your primary duties will include:
- Financial Reporting: Preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
- General Ledger Management: Maintaining and reconciling the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Audit Support: Assisting with external audits and ensuring all audit requirements are met.
- Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis, cost analysis, and variance analysis to support decision-making.
- Data Entry: Accurate and efficient data entry to maintain financial records and databases.
- Cache Flow Management: Overseeing cash flow, optimizing liquidity, and ensuring funds are allocated efficiently.
- Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or relevant professional certification is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field within Qatar.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
