Junior Accountant Jobs in Abu Dhabi, UAE at Mind Base Education
We are seeking a Junior Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks.
You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances.
Key Responsibilities:
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately.
Update accounts receivable and issue invoices in a timely manner.
Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations as required.
Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
Assist with reviewing expenses, payroll records, etc. as assigned.
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed.
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports to stakeholders.
Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
Assist with other accounting projects as required.
Develop monthly financial statements regarding the company’s profits, loss statements, and balance sheets.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
At least 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.Excellent organizational skills.
Attention to detail
is crucial.
Strong
analytical skills
with a focus on numbers and figures.
Familiarity with accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
A valid Driver’s License is an advantage.
