Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant with hands-on experience in Tally software to join our finance team in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, assisting with reporting, and ensuring accurate data entry and reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions in Tally ERP/Tally Prime/BUSY
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain general ledger and accounting documentation.
- Support VAT-related accounting and record keeping.
- Verify and reconcile supplier and customer statements.
- Assist with audits and financial reviews.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Maintain accurate filing of financial documents and records.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime/BUSY
- Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with VAT regulations in the UAE is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
