Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsman to join the engineering team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in water treatment projects
, particularly STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) projects
, and hands‑on expertise in preparing detailed mechanical drawings for fabrication, installation, and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and revise detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD
- Develop P&, GA, isometric, fabrication, and installation drawings
- Prepare layouts for mechanical equipment, piping systems, and skid packages
- Coordinate with mechanical engineers, project teams, and site personnel for drawing updates
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards
- Support project execution with accurate as‑built documentation
- Review technical specifications, BOQs, and engineering documents
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as Mechanical / MEP Draftsman
- Must be currently working in the water treatment industry
- Mandatory experience in STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) projects
- Strong knowledge of:
- P&
- GA Drawings
- Isometric Drawings
- Mechanical equipment and piping layouts
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Familiar with engineering standards such as:
- ASME
- NFPA
- IEC
- Strong attention to detail and coordination skills
Preferred Background
Candidates from reputed water treatment / EPC organizations such as:
Veolia, VA Tech Wabag, L&T, Corodex, Metito, Ion Exchange, or Therm.
