The Joinery Site Engineer will oversee and manage joinery installation activities at construction sites, ensuring quality standards, adherence to project timelines, and compliance with design specifications. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate all joinery installation activities on-site.
Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, designs, and specifications.
Monitor daily site progress and report to the Project Manager.
Review and interpret joinery shop drawings, ensuring feasibility and accuracy.
Identify and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies on-site.
Provide technical guidance to site teams and subcontractors.
Inspect joinery materials and installation to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Address any defects or deviations promptly to maintain high standards of workmanship.
Conduct regular quality checks throughout the installation process.
Collaborate with the joinery factory team to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
Liaise with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to align installation activities with the overall project schedule.
Coordinate with the construction team to integrate joinery works seamlessly into the broader project scope.
Enforce adherence to health and safety regulations on-site.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure safe working practices during joinery installation.
Address any safety concerns or incidents promptly and effectively.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, materials used, and progress reports.
Prepare and submit site reports to the Project Manager.
Document any changes or variations to the joinery scope and seek necessary approvals.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
· Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in joinery installation, with a strong background in site supervision.
· Technical Skills:
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and shop drawings.
Strong understanding of joinery materials, techniques, and finishes.
· Project Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication for coordination with diverse teams.
Working Conditions:
Based on construction sites, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
May require extended hours or weekend work to meet project deadlines
