Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Joinery Foreman to supervise and coordinate all joinery and woodworking activities on site or in our workshop. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality workmanship, adherence to drawings and specifications, and timely completion of projects while managing a team of carpenters and joiners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule daily work activities to meet project deadlines.
- Inspect materials and workmanship, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and solve on-site joinery issues.
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety procedures.
- Prepare daily reports and update supervisors on project progress.
- Coordinate with site engineers and other trades to ensure smooth workflow.
- Supervise and manage a team of carpenters and joiners.
- Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ensure joinery works (furniture, cabinets, doors, windows, partitions, etc.) meet quality standards.
