Joinery Estimation Engineer – Woodwork Jobs in Abu Dhabi at Zircon Decor
- Review drawings, BOQ, specifications, and project requirements.
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs for wood, joinery, and related materials.
- Calculate material quantities, labor costs, hardware, finishes, and accessories.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for joinery works.
- Coordinate with the design, production, procurement, and project teams.
- Obtain and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations.
- Check material prices and update costing based on current market rates.
- Identify any discrepancies or missing information in drawings and BOQs.
- Prepare variation and additional-work cost estimates.
- Ensure estimates are accurate and submitted within the required deadline.
- Maintain proper records of quotations, costing sheets, and estimation documents.
- Support the team during tendering and project negotiation.
- Review approved drawings and update estimates when there are design changes.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure estimated quantities and costs are practical.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in woodwork/joinery estimation.
- Strong knowledge of joinery materials, BOQ, quantity take-off, and costing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- UAE experience in joinery works is preferred.
