Joinery Draftsman – Remote Jobs in UAE at Spring Tech
This is a remote position. We are seeking a skilled Joinery Draftsman with a strong background in producing accurateand detailed shop drawings for joinery projects including furniturecabinetry doors and other custom woodwork. The ideal candidate willpossess indepth knowledge of joinery processes materials andAutoCAD software to ensure highquality and precise designs alignedwith project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed technical drawings for custom joineryprojects. Collaborate closely withinternal production and technical teams to translate concepts intoactionable designs. Review clientand design team specifications ensuring drawings meet functionaland adequate requirements. Modifyand revise designs based on feedback from clients or internalstakeholders. Ensure all designscomply with industry standards building codes and projectbudgets. Maintain a library ofjoinery details and templates for consistentdocumentation. Liaise withsuppliers to specify materials hardware and other necessarycomponents.
Ensure that the finaldrawings are approved and shared with the production teamefficiently and effectively. Participate in onsite inspections to ensure accuracy andquality alignment with designs.
Requirements Proficiencyin AutoCAD Sketch Up and other drafting/designsoftware.
Strong understanding ofjoinery techniques materials finishes and productionprocesses.
Ability to read andinterpret architectural drawings and translate them into joineryshop drawings.
Ability to workindependently and report issues or concerns on time to get the jobdone.
Attention to detail
andcommitment to producing precise highqualitywork.
Knowledge of relevant safetyand compliance standards.
Excellentproblemsolving skills and the ability to adapt to clientspecificneeds.
Strong
communication
andteamwork abilities.
Prior experiencein the interior fitout or joinery industry ispreferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, andother drafting/design software. Strong understanding of joinerytechniques, materials, finishes, and production processes. Abilityto read and interpret architectural drawings and translate theminto joinery shop drawings. Ability to work independently andreport issues or concerns on time to get the job done. Attention todetail and commitment to producing precise, high-quality work.
Knowledge of relevant safety and compliance standards. Excellentproblem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to client-specificneeds. Strong
