We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Joinery Draftsman with hands-on experience in joinery and woodworking. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed technical drawings for manufacturing and installation, while coordinating closely with the design, production, procurement, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed shop drawings and technical drawings for joinery and woodworking works.
- Develop detailed drawings for doors, wardrobes, cabinetry, wall cladding, counters, furniture, and other custom joinery items.
- Convert architectural and interior design concepts into clear and fabrication-ready drawings.
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction drawings for joinery works.
- Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and design requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and site teams to ensure drawings are practical and suitable for fabrication and installation.
- Conduct site measurements and visits when required to verify dimensions and site conditions.
- Make necessary revisions to drawings based on design changes, site conditions, and production requirements.
- Ensure all drawings are completed accurately and submitted within project deadlines.
- Maintain proper documentation and revision records for all drawings.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Drafting, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Joinery Draftsman, preferably within the joinery, woodworking, or interior fit-out industry.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, SketchUp, or other 3D software is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of joinery construction, materials, hardware, fittings, and finishing standards.
- Ability to prepare detailed joinery drawings for doors, cabinetry, wardrobes, wall cladding, furniture, counters, and other custom joinery works.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple drawings and meet project deadlines.
- GCC experience in joinery or fit-out projects is an advantage.

Pay: AED3,500.00 – AED4,000.00 per month
