e are seeking a Heavy Equipment Inspector to ensure the safety, reliability, and compliance of heavy machinery used in construction, oil & gas, and industrial projects. The role involves conducting inspections, diagnosing equipment conditions, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of heavy equipment (excavators, bulldozers, cranes, loaders, etc.) to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Perform preventive maintenance checks and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, including photographs and documentation of findings.
Identify potential hazards, defects, or wear-and-tear issues in equipment and suggest corrective measures.
Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations, such as OSHA, ADNOC, or other relevant standards.
Coordinate with maintenance teams and supervisors for timely servicing and repairs.
Monitor equipment performance, conduct load tests, and verify certifications as needed.
Train operators and site personnel on safe equipment handling and maintenance procedures.
Stay updated on industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in heavy equipment inspection.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment inspection, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of heavy machinery components, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
Experience with inspection tools, diagnostic software, and load testing procedures.
Familiarity with regulatory standards such as OSHA, ISO, API, ADNOC (if applicable), or other local authority regulations.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Certification in Lifting Equipment Inspection (LEEA) or equivalent is a plus.
Valid UAE/GCC driving license (if applicable).
