Curriculum: National Curriculum of England and Wales (Cambridge Curriculum) / IGCSE AND IB DP
School Type: 100% Arab (85% Saudi Nationals)
This is a bilingual school of separate boys and girls campuses, that combine an international curriculum with an ethos that strongly promotes the ideals and culture of the Middle East. All students speak English as a second language.
Qualifications: Bachelor Degree (preferable in Business/ ICT) plus Teaching Qualification in relevant teaching area
Experience: Minimum 2 years required
Curriculum: UK IGCSE and IBDP experience preferred
Subjects: Experience teaching IGCSE and IB Diploma Business Studies, with the ability to teach Computer Science from Years 7 to 11.
Gender: As the girls campus will be first to enter the IGCSE and IB phase, a female teacher will be required.
Teachers are expected to be part of the KED program in the school. The key to personalized learning, where the teacher helps the student to set goals and develop successful learning strategies for all school work. In the KED Program, the teacher has four major roles: being a personal coach to support each student’s progress, a subject teacher who is an expert in a certain subject, a general teacher who provides support to all students in the school, and a team member in the local and global networks of teachers in the KED Network.
Last but not least, the professional development of teachers is a major focus of the KED Program.
