Description
Tuwaiq Casting & Forging is seeking a motivated IT Technician to join the IT Service Delivery Division. Reporting to the IT Engineer or IT Manager, this role is responsible for providing first-level technical support to employees and users, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted IT services across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level IT support for employees and end-users across the organization.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computers, printers, and IT equipment.
- Support network connectivity, internet, and Wi-Fi related issues.
- Assist with software installation, updates, and antivirus management.
- Maintain IT inventory and asset records.
- Monitor and respond to IT service desk tickets in a timely manner.
- Perform routine system and data backup checks.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience are preferred.
Technical Competencies
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
- Foundational understanding of networking concepts including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and Wi-Fi.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.
Behavioral Competencies
- Good communication skills with the ability to support users effectively.
- Strong teamwork orientation and willingness to collaborate across departments.
