Instrumentation & Control Engineer (I&C Engineer) – Commissioning & Testing Support
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Engineer to provide commissioning and testing support for power generation and water treatment projects. The I&C Engineer will ensure the correct operation and performance of instrumentation systems and control systems during the commissioning phase.
Key Responsibilities:
Witnessing and supervising instrumentation and control commissioning tests at project sites.
Reviewing and analyzing the data from tests, validating results against project specifications.
Preparing detailed Test Findings Reports, including data collection, test analysis, and compliance evaluations.
Offering independent expert advice and recommendations based on test outcomes.
Verifying and ensuring that I&C systems are properly installed, configured, and tested.
Reporting observations and discrepancies during tests and collaborating with the project team to resolve issues.
Ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
Coordinating necessary access, including CICPA permits for restricted site areas.
Qualifications and Experience:
Over 10 years of experience in commissioning and testing I&C systems in power generation and water projects.
In-depth knowledge of instrumentation, control systems, and automation technologies.
Experience with control systems in CCGT, OCGT, Solar PV, and Reverse Osmosis projects.
Ability to work independently and provide expert technical evaluations.
Available to work on-site in Abu Dhabi as per the project schedule.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From AED15,000.00 per month
