IT Systems Analyst
We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Analyst for our major Oil and Gas client to join their Finance, IT & Supply Chain function. Reporting to the IT Systems & Services Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, security, reliability, and performance of enterprise IT infrastructure across both on-premises and Microsoft cloud environments.
This is a hands-on technical role suited to an experienced infrastructure professional with strong Microsoft technologies expertise and a passion for delivering secure, resilient, and high-performing IT services.
Requirements:
You will be an experienced infrastructure specialist with a strong background supporting enterprise Microsoft environments and maintaining highly secure IT systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Microsoft infrastructure certifications are advantageous.
- ITIL Foundation certification or a strong understanding of IT service management principles is preferred.
- Previous Oil and Gas industry experience is preferred
Experience
- Prior work managing enterprise on-premises and Microsoft cloud environments.
- Recent experience working within highly regulated or security-focused organisations.
- Proven experience supporting environments with strong governance, compliance, and information security requirements (e.g. ISO 27001 or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with enterprise HPE server and storage platforms, including rack servers, blade systems, Synergy, HPE MSA storage, backup, and disaster recovery technologies.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage secure on-premises and Microsoft cloud infrastructure, including Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
- Administer and support Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Exchange Hybrid.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for servers, storage, backup, and endpoint platforms.
- Manage enterprise server, storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
- Perform proactive system monitoring, preventive maintenance, patch management, and firmware upgrades.
- Support endpoint management and security platforms, including Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Investigate and resolve infrastructure incidents, perform root cause analysis, and ensure service levels are maintained in line with ITIL best practices.
- Deliver infrastructure projects, including Microsoft 365 migrations, Azure integrations, and security hardening initiatives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), system architecture diagrams, and knowledge base articles.
- Support information security, compliance, and audit activities by preparing technical evidence, responding to audit requests, and implementing remediation actions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operational processes.

IT Systems Analyst
We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Analyst for our major Oil and Gas client to join their Finance, IT & Supply Chain function.
