Amazon is seeking bright, adaptable, and hardworking applicants to work at our Corporate Offices in the National Capital Region, India. As an IT Support Manager II, you will collaborate with Amazon teams to provide and support the IT equipment and services they require. We consider Amazon employees as our customers and aim to provide timely, accurate, and professional support. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and a broad technical aptitude across IT software, hardware, and networking disciplines.

About

The Role

In this position, you will leverage your leadership and technical expertise to support, develop, implement, and enhance technology solutions. You will manage large projects that impact multiple locations within the region and lead a technical IT team responsible for resolving customer issues efficiently. You will actively expand your scope based on customer needs, with a focus on AWS technologies and distributed systems concepts.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a team of IT Support Engineers (ITSEs).

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.

Support virtual or physical events and town halls in India.

Manage Audio Visual devices and services across India.

Ensure service uptime and governance for your team.

Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex IT problems.

Collaborate with internal teams or vendors on project execution.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Audit work quality and provide constructive feedback.

Automate manual tasks and develop tools to improve team efficiency.

Serve as the first point of escalation for issues.

Maintain good exposure to IT Asset Management.

Provide senior-level customer support.

Participate in hiring, training, and team development activities.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field such as computer science, engineering, or statistics.

At least 5 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT operations manager.

Knowledge of cabling best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (additional preferred).

Experience with system management tools and client/server environments.
