This is a full-time and permanent role based in the US Central timezone.
Umbrella Fund is expanding its finance team and is looking for a skilled and experienced Accountant to take on a pivotal role in our accounting department. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of US accounting principles and practices, along with a commitment to maintaining accuracy and transparency in financial reporting.
The Accountant will be responsible for a variety of tasks including managing financial records, conducting month-end close processes, preparing budgets, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. You will play a critical role in the preparation of financial statements and reports, providing analytical insights to inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and the general ledger.
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
Assist in the month-end closing processes and reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze budgets and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
Support the auditing processes by providing necessary documentation.
Collaborate with colleagues to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting.
Strong familiarity with US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
