Role Overview

You'll be responsible for providing hands-on support for front-end imaging systems, IT systems, kiosks, POS devices, printers, and basic local network issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line on-site support for front-end systems, POS terminals, kiosks, printers, and related devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software, system connectivity, and local network issues in a timely manner.
  • Minimize downtime and restore systems as quickly as possible to reduce operational disruption.
  • Work closely with relevant IT teams to diagnose, escalate, and resolve technical incidents.
  • Perform routine checks on devices, systems, and local network status to prevent avoidable disruptions.
  • Support the installation, setup, testing, and replacement of on-site devices and systems as needed.
  • Maintain records of incidents, actions taken, and escalation status, and provide updates to the site supervisor.
  • Support operational teams with basic technical guidance on proper system use and issue reporting.
  • When required, assist with basic front-line support duties such as user guidance and service coordination.
  • Follow established procedures, technical requirements, and operational standards at all times.

Work Conditions:

  • This role requires working on-site, including weekends, holidays, and shift-based schedules as needed.

Required Experience, Qualification & Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, desktop support, helpdesk, or network administration.
  • Experience in POS systems, kiosks, or IT support, is strongly preferred.
  • Practical on-site IT support capability with basic hands-on technical skills, including checking devices, cabling, connections, and safely replacing simple components.
  • Good understanding of Windows-based systems, common end-user devices, and basic network troubleshooting (LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, cabling, IP settings).
  • Ability to respond quickly to incidents, identify root causes, and restore service efficiently.
  • Strong sense of urgency and responsibility in live operational environments.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work closely with both operations teams and IT stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
