The IT Strategy Manager ensures that the organization’s IT framework supports its current and future objectives. By aligning IT operations with business priorities, they identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, enhance operational efficiency, and maintain compliance with governance standards. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, technology insight, and stakeholder collaboration.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the organization’s business goals and long-term objectives.
Conduct market and technology research to identify emerging trends, tools, and solutions relevant to the organization’s growth.
Oversee the execution of strategic IT initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and alignment with defined goals.
Collaborate with business leaders and IT teams to ensure the strategy addresses key organizational challenges and opportunities.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of IT initiatives, providing regular updates and insights to leadership.
Ensure IT strategy adheres to governance frameworks and compliance requirements, including cybersecurity, privacy laws, and regulatory standards.
Identify and prioritize IT investments to support organizational goals, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment between IT and business units.
Develop and maintain roadmaps for the adoption of new technologies and systems.
Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT function
Skills
Essential Skills
Proven experience in IT strategy development and execution.
Strong understanding of emerging technologies and their business implications.
Knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, or ISO 38500.
Strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to align IT initiatives with organizational goals.
Proficiency in financial planning and budgeting for IT investments.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate strategy to leadership and stakeholders.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Desirable Skills
Familiarity with digital transformation frameworks.
Experience in risk management and compliance within IT environments.
Certifications such as CIO Certification, PMP, or ITIL Expert.
Knowledge of data-driven decision-making tools and methodologies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED30,000.00 per month
