The IT Specialist responsible for provides advanced technical assistance and expertise to end-users and IT support teams within the organization. This role involves troubleshoot hardware and software problems and offer solutions to ensure the smooth functioning of systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximizes computer systems capabilities by studying technical applications and making recommendations.
  • Updates existing security software on network and workstation. Test existing operating system and computer for potential viruses and security problems.
  • Attend in-person meetings with vendor to analyse, troubleshoot and diagnose hardware problems.
  • Provide technical support for systems and networks.
  • Troubleshooting Network LAN & WAN, POS, Wi-Fi AP and Printers.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.
  • Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
  • Setup and configure Desktop, Laptop for new user based on the company best practices guideline
  • Arranges service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
  • Resolving logged errors in a timely manner.
  • Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions.

Education

Degree in IT or similar discipline

Technical Skills

High-level skills in IT administration, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems, data center management and data governance, computer networks, network administration and network installation, database design and development.

Industry Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in the same field

Technology Skills

High technical ability and knowledge of computer software and hardware with an enthusiastic approach to expanding knowledge of all gaming, hardware, software and systems.

Communication Skills

English languages proficiency, Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
