Job Summary:
The IT Physical Security Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining physical security
measures to protect MNT Holding’s IT infrastructure, data centers, and critical
assets. This role involves security system integration, and ensuring compliance
with security policies and industry regulations.
KeyResponsibilities:
Physical Security System Management:
Install, configure, and maintain access control, surveillance (CCTV), and alarm systems.
Monitor security systems for potential threats and respond to incidents.
Work with vendors and service providers to procure and maintain security equipment.
Risk Assessment & Compliance:
Conduct regular physical security risk assessments and audits of IT facilities.
Ensure compliance with security policies, industry standards (ISO 27001), and regulatory requirements.
Develop and update security policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Incident Response & Investigations:
Investigate security breaches, unauthorized access, and physical security incidents.
Coordinate with internal teams and law enforcement for incident resolution.
Maintain logs and reports for all security-related incidents.
Access Control & Identity Management:
Manage employee access to IT facilities and secure areas.
Implement and maintain badge access and biometric authentication systems.
Review and update access control policies regularly.
Security Awareness & Training:
Train employees on physical security best practices and procedures.
Conduct security drills and emergency respone training.
Collaborate with IT and HR teams to enforce security awareness programs.
Project Management & Security Enhancements:
Assist in the planning and execution of new security projects.
Recommend and implement improvements to existing security infrastructure.
Stay updated on emerging threats and advancements in physical security technologies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Security Management or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in physical security, IT security, or related roles.
Knowledge of security systems, access control, and surveillance technologies.
Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (ISO 27001).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Work Requirements:
May require travel between facilities or data centers.
On-call availability for security incidents and emergency response.
Work in high-security environments, including data centers and restricted access zones.
