Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mid-Level UX/UI Designer who will play a critical role in shaping the look and feel of our digital products. This person will focus on crafting intuitive user flows, enhancing user journeys, and ensuring that every design decision aligns with our high standards for usability and performance. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create user-centered designs that meet both business and user goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design of user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs for web and mobile applications.
Conduct user research (including usability testing, user interviews, and surveys) to identify pain points and refine user experiences.
Create detailed personas, user stories, and journey maps to inform design decisions and user-centric solutions.
Design intuitive and visually appealing interfaces, adhering to best practices and design standards.
Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency and quality across the product.
Iterate quickly based on user feedback, analytics, and testing results.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and align with business objectives.
Champion user-centric design principles across the team and contribute to a culture of high design standards.
Stay up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create well-thought-out user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-quality UI designs.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, best practices, and UX methodologies.
Ability to conduct user research, analyze insights, and apply them to design decisions.
Experience with responsive design and designing for both web and mobile platforms.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale.
Experience working closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
Bonus Points:
Experience with design systems and design system management.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and understanding how designs are implemented.
Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
Previous experience working in an agile environment.
