Responsibilities:

Plan, execute, and monitor IT projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and scope.

Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and team members.

Develop and manage detailed project plans, including tasks, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation.

Manage and oversee implementation for industry standard Dev Ops & CICD principles.

Coordinate and lead project meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.

Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and conflicts, implementing appropriate resolutions and contingency plans.

Track and report project progress, providing timely updates to stakeholders on key milestones, deliverables, and risks.

Manage project budgets and resources, ensuring optimal utilization and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of project activities with organizational goals and strategies.

Oversee the development and implementation of project management processes, methodologies, and best practices.

Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting effective communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Skills Required for an Information Technology Project Manager:

Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, successfully delivering complex IT projects from initiation to completion.

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Hands-on implementation exposure on latest Temenos Transact products, TAFJ, Jboss, Web Logic, DS, IRIS-R18, T24 artefacts package and deployment, UXP.

Participated in project enabling solution for building local features to speed up Deployment & Development cycles.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address project risks and issues proactively.

Sound decision-making abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and resources effectively.

Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar.

Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and Agile methodologies.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

A master’s degree is a plus. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in the banking sector.

Experience in managing diverse IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, software implementations, and system integrations.

Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, both internal and external.

Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks, processes, and procedures especially in the banking sector.

Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.

Strong business acumen and the ability to align IT projects with organizational goals and strategies.

Continuous learning mindset and a commitment to staying up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the IT field.
