Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled IT Programmer to develop, test, and maintain software applications that drive our business operations. The ideal candidate should have expertise in programming languages, database management, and software development methodologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create efficient, scalable, and secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and deploy software applications based on business requirements.
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software for performance improvements.
Collaborate with designers, analysts, and other developers to ensure smooth integration.
Maintain and enhance databases to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
Implement security measures to protect applications from cyber threats.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Provide technical support and documentation for developed applications.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a programmer, software developer, or IT professional.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, C#, JavaScript, or PHP.
Experience with databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB).
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js) is a plus.
Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Knowledge of DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
Understanding of AI/ML and data analytics is an advantage.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
