IT & OT Consultant (Emerging Technologies)
Key Responsibilities
IT-OT Integration Strategy:
o Develop and implement IT-OT integration strategies that align with business objectives.
o Assess the compatibility and interoperability of IT and OT systems.
o Identify potential challenges and risks associated with integration.
o Design and implement secure and reliable networks to connect IT and OT systems.
o Configure firewalls, routers, and switches to ensure proper communication and security.
o Optimize network performance and capacity.
o Develop data management strategies to effectively collect, store, and analyse data from IT and OT systems.
o Implement data analytics tools and techniques to extract valuable insights.
o Integrate data from various sources to support decision-making.
Cybersecurity and Risk Management:
o Assess cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities in IT and OT systems.
o Develop and implement security measures to protect against cyber threats.
o Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Technology Selection and Implementation:
o Evaluate and recommend IT and OT technologies that meet client requirements.
o Oversee the implementation of new systems and technologies.
o Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
Training and Support:
o Develop and deliver training programs to IT and OT personnel.
o Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for IT and OT systems.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong understanding of IT and OT systems and technologies
Experience with network infrastructure and security.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and standards.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in IT or OT security (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security
Professional (CISSP), Certified Industrial Security Professional (CISP)).
Experience with specific IT and OT platforms or technologies.
Programming experience (e.g., Python, C++, Java).
Project management experience.
