We are seeking a highly experienced IT Manager to lead the delivery, integration, and commissioning of critical IT, telecommunications, smart building, and infrastructure systems across a large-scale industrial facility. This role will serve as the bridge between engineering, utilities, construction, and digital technologies, ensuring a fully connected, operationally resilient, and future-ready environment.

Key Responsibilities

Technology & Smart Building Leadership

  • Lead the implementation of ICT infrastructure, telecom networks, structured cabling, data centers, server rooms, security systems, BMS, SCADA, and smart building technologies.
  • Ensure digital infrastructure supports operational requirements, scalability, and future expansion.
  • Drive integration between building systems, utilities, and enterprise technology platforms.

Infrastructure & Utilities Management

  • Oversee the delivery and integration of power, water, telecommunications, sewer, stormwater, gas, and fire water infrastructure.
  • Coordinate utility connections with authorities, service providers, and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure infrastructure readiness for commissioning and operational handover.

MEP & Systems Integration

  • Manage the integration of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and specialist systems.
  • Resolve multidisciplinary engineering and construction interfaces.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between MEP, IT, utilities, and operational requirements.

Construction, Testing & Commissioning

  • Monitor contractors and consultants to ensure compliance with approved designs and quality standards.
  • Lead testing, commissioning, integrated systems validation, and operational readiness activities.
  • Review technical documentation, as-built records, O&M manuals, and handover deliverables.

Governance & Stakeholder Management

  • Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage risks, engineering changes, quality assurance, and compliance requirements.
  • Represent the organization in technical meetings with consultants, contractors, utility providers, and authorities.

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong exposure to IT Infrastructure, Telecommunications, Smart Buildings, or Digital Technologies.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience delivering complex industrial, manufacturing, data center, infrastructure, or high-tech facilities.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder and contractor management capabilities.

Preferred

  • MBA.
  • PMP Certification.
  • SCE Registration.
  • Knowledge of NFPA standards.
  • Experience with BMS, SCADA, Data Centers, Industrial Automation, and Smart Factory environments.
