We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled IT Helpdesk Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to employees and resolving IT-related issues to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations. This role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems, ensuring minimal downtime, and maintaining smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for all IT support inquiries, providing timely and efficient assistance via phone, email, or in-person.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, network connectivity, and other IT-related systems.
Set up, configure, and maintain computer systems, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications.
Provide support for office-wide systems such as email, file sharing, and other collaboration tools.
Assist with password resets, access issues, and user account management.
Perform routine checks and maintenance on IT equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
Document support tickets, track issue resolution, and maintain clear records in the helpdesk ticketing system.
Provide guidance to end-users on best practices for IT security and usage.
Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
Assist with the setup and configuration of new workstations and IT equipment for new employees.
Maintain IT inventory, including hardware and software licenses.
Perform system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in IT support or helpdesk environment (2-4 years preferred).
Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in IT support or help desk roles.
CCNA or MSCE Certification is preferred.
Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with networking concepts (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN).
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
