IT General Manager – Dubai, Full Time
We are looking for an IT General Manager to join our client, who are a leading organization in Dubai. As the General Manager, you will to lead strategic initiatives, oversee technical project execution, and drive business expansion into new markets with a wide range of new products.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with business goals.
Oversee IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
Identify and capitalize on business opportunities and partnerships.
Lead the development and launch of new IT solutions and products.
Manage cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Establish performance metrics and drive team development.
Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures.
Oversee IT infrastructure improvements and regulatory compliance.
Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master’s degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) preferred.
Certifications in project management (PMP, Prince2, Agile/Scrum Master) and relevant IT fields (MCP, CCNA, cloud, cybersecurity).
15+ years of IT industry experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
Strong expertise in software development, IT project management, and enterprise technology solutions.
Proven success in business development, financial management, and cross-functional team leadership.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, cybersecurity, compliance (GDPR, ISO), and emerging tech (AI, machine learning, blockchain).
