Key ResponsibilitiesIrrigation Design & Planning
- Prepare, review, and optimize irrigation designs, layouts, and hydraulic calculations
- Develop irrigation shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical documentation
- Review BOQs, specifications, and material submittals related to irrigation works
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, UAE regulations, and water conservation standards
- Support design coordination during planning and pre-construction stages
Site Execution & Supervision
- Supervise installation of irrigation systems across landscaping projects
- Ensure execution follows approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Oversee installation of pipelines, valve chambers, pump stations, filtration units, and control systems
- Monitor site progress and resolve technical issues during execution
- Conduct inspections to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely completion
Irrigation Systems Management
- Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and operation of irrigation systems
- Manage drip, sprinkler, bubbler, subsurface, and automated irrigation systems
- Ensure proper functioning of pumps, valves, controllers, sensors, and filtration systems
- Optimize irrigation scheduling and controller programming for water efficiency
- Support troubleshooting and system performance improvements
Technical Coordination
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, architects, and site teams
- Ensure integration of irrigation systems with civil, MEP, drainage, and landscaping works
- Attend coordination meetings and provide technical inputs
- Support approvals, inspections, and UAE authority compliance
Quality Control & Compliance
- Conduct inspections at all stages of irrigation works
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards
- Monitor workmanship and implement corrective actions when required
- Maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, and project records
Cost Control & Material Management
- Assist in preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates
- Evaluate irrigation materials and support procurement processes
- Monitor material usage and support cost control initiatives
- Verify quantities and assist in variation evaluations
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
- Maintain project records including inspections, approvals, and technical submissions
- Track project progress, delays, risks, and site issues
- Support as-built drawings and final handover documentation
Health, Safety & Sustainability
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and UAE safety standards
- Promote efficient water usage and sustainable irrigation practices
- Support water conservation and environmental initiatives
- Participate in safety audits and inspections
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, or related field
- 4–6 years of UAE experience in irrigation or landscaping projects
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, hydraulic calculations, pumps, valves, controllers, and automation systems
- Experience with drip, sprinkler, bubbler, and smart irrigation systems
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications
- Good knowledge of UAE municipality irrigation standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
- UAE Driving License preferred
